If I record a sports event or movie longer than 2 hours I can only watch the first 2 hours and 6 minutes on any of my FibeTV app devices but can watch the entire recording if I watch it on my Bell rented PVR. Is this an over site in the app or a limitation?

I have the exact same problem since many months. I only have one recorder. Rebooting doesn't solve the problem.
Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it extend by a random number of time, sometimes it doesn't extend at all but I can watch the program if I don't touch my remote.
I tried extending with tv.bell.ca, with my the fibe app and with my PVR the problem occurs on all the solutions I tried, randomly.
My PVR is vip5662w

My question is regarding watching recordings on the Fibe app: If a recording is set to record a program and then you extend the recording time beyond the regular end time (i.e 1 hour beyond) why are you unable to watch the full recording on the app but only on the receiver?

I am new to Bell Fibe TV
I only use the default settings, but the recorded programs are always start about a couple minutes earlier and also stop about a couple minutes earlier too, so we always miss the show’s end part.
Any one has the similar problem or know the solution?
My set-top-box is Arris VIP7802
I don't have a physical PVR, my PVR is in the cloud.

I use Bell FIBE TV on our Smart LG TV, and have recorded program 60 minutes each Sunday, but very often the program is delayed for up to a couple of hours, due to sports. I have seen the BELL Fibe video, and it indicates that you can delay stopping the recording by up to 3 hours ?? My TV box only allows for 30 minutes. How do I obtain a Bell FIBE TV set receiver that will allow me to do what they show in the Video???

That’s a different question.
https://forum.bell.ca/t5/TV/Can-you-record-longer-than-30-minutes-after-end/m-p/23832
If you are in Ontario or Quebec, you have to order a stand-alone Fibe TV service, cause these two provinces no longer provide the older 5662 box (which can extend recordings up to 3hrs) to bundled customers

This thread is supposed to just be about the extended portion not available on the app, but only can be viewed on the dvr, not the max allowance for the extension.

I have been in the habit of recording tennis and it can start at 5 AM and continue to 5 PM. No problem. I could even extend the recording time by several hours if necessary. But since I’ve got this Bell 5G receiver it stops before the program has finished… in this instance after four hours so not knowing, I missed the best matches. I’m told by Bell that there is a limitation to how long I can record. And if I wish to extend the recording, the limit is 30 minutes, not the several hours I was able to add before 5G. This needs to be addressed. (in this case, recording the program that follows does not apply).
