Global TV app - Authentication error

I'm trying to activate the Global TV app on my TV. I put in the code and tried to login with the mybell account. It doesn't do anything. Please help.

Are you still being logged out each time you navigate to another page in the Bell Community forum?

Hi Patricia,

The issue is only with the bell Fibe web-based app. I’m logged into the Global app on my Roku TV and on my iPhone 12. However, when I attempt to login to watch.globaltv.com on my laptop (Chrome/Windows 10). It either just spins or I get the following error message: 

“BAD REQUEST 

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. “

This message is from “fedportal.ges.bell.ca/….”

When I go to the bell forum main page, it lets me log in but kicks me back to the My Services page when I log in. If I attempt to go back to the forum, it logs me out again. I also opened the link from this email, clicked Reply and it took to a login page. When I was finished logging in, it took me back to the home page of the forum and I’m logged in. But when I try to go back to the original message to reply to you, it logs me out again. 
Tried multiple times- same or similar result every time. 
This response is from my iPhone where I have no issues.

Have you tested in another web browser too?

To start, we recommend that you clear your history/cookies/caches and then reboot your computer. Make sure you are not using a private browsing session or a VPN, and verify that your browser is up to date as well.

Having trouble getting live Global TV.  I try and input the code and is says I’m not subscribed.  But I own it it says

how many times is a few? I'm having the same issue, the website is saying I'm only subscribed to global news and the app is just saying I'm not subscribed at all even though I'm still getting all the channels on the satellite.

yep done all that, it won't work on any device the website, roku tv, phone nothing. Can log into crave, sportsnet, tsn ect using my bell account no problem it's just global

 

Also this isn't the first time using the app I've used it for years with no issues but noticed the episodes for who wants to be a millionaire were all messed up so I logged out and now I can't get back in.

 

Well idk what happened but I tried again and it worked so all good now

Yes the same with when I did it! Glad you got it working.

My issue is that i live in a remote community, no "Fibe" or internet so i I signed up to a 100MB phone package - all the streaming services ask to sign in through "your TV Provder" - but Bell Mobility is not an option - same issue with other APP's - I'm currently trying to create a global tv account

Welcome to the Bell Community.

You are right, as Bell Mobility does not cover TV services it would not be listed as a service provider.

Please let the Community know if you need help with anything else.

Having the same issue with the Bell Media CTV app not working with Bell Medias Mobility service, Bell Mobility - just wrote them back "So then - when subscribing to Bell Media to watch the CTV App on my Smart TV, or CRAVE, which is free with my phone plan, I can't actually use my phone to watch these as they require me to log in with my TV Provider.  So the Bell Mobility Plan owned by Bell Media does not work for Bell Media's TV service CTV?  That's similar to not being able to drive my car because the tires I have on my new car don't work with the car they came on.  Hmmm.." - on a side note, I hear the US FTC has just approved a 1-click to cancel button on all websites which I can't wait till it comes to Canada !!!! I click to Cancel Bell would be amazing !
