We have a few suggestions that I think you will find helpful, depending on which service you have.
For Satellite TV check if this article: What is Described Video and how do I watch it?
If you are using Fibe TV you can turn Descriptive Video On simply by clicking Menu on your remote > Settings > Accessibility > Descriptive Video > On > Save.
