Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

All you need to do is open a web browser & Log in to your MyBell account. Enter > MyBell user name & password. Select > Mobility. Select > Add/remove add-ons. Select > the tab marked Crave & other. Select > Crave Basic with Ads. Select > Contnue at the bottom of the page. Follow the onscreen prompts to review  & save your changes. You have now added Crave.

You will be able to access the Crave website and Apps using your MyBell login. (Bell Service provider login with the Crave app.)

Are you currently subscribed to Crave Basic with ads on your mobile device? Yes, you can watch Crave Premium with any of the following:

  1. Amazon Firestick
  2. Android TV
  3. Android phones & tablets
  4. Apple TV 4K & Apple TV HD
  5. Bell Streamer
  6. Chromecast
  7. Computer - Edge, Chrome, etc  web browser. Crave.ca
  8. iPhone & iPad

To upgrade to Crave Premium Ad-free, you can manage your subscription through your Bell Mobility account in MyBell.

I am a former Bell employee and a customer. My views on the Community Forum are my own and may not be the views of Bell or any of its affiliates.

On my new mobility connection it said crave was included for 9.99 on the list of things on the add ons. I’m kinda confused about how to access this though. I don’t use bell tv, just a smart tv with other streaming services, I know I can download crave on it, I used to have it. But now how do I connect it to my bell account?

I received an offer recently of free Crave TV on my Fibe services which included iPad, Iphone and TV.  I was able to set up the services on my iPad and iPhone but I'm having trouble setting up for the TV.  Is it necessary to have a smart TV or a device such as a firestick (or similar) to get the Crave service?   Thanks for any info.

In order to use Crave on a TV, you must have some form of device to allow you to connect & access the programming.

You indicated that your TV is not a Smart TV and you do not wish to use a streaming device such as Firestick, Bell Streamer, receiver, etc.

  1. Can you provide us with some further TV detail? Make & model.
  2. How are you using this TV today?
  3. Which package do you subscribe? Fibe TV or Fibe TV APP.
  4. Do you have access to Internet on this TV? Wi-Fi, etc.

Thank you @WelshTerrier for your reply. I'll do my best to answer your questions.

1. We have an LG TV Model # 42LV4400-UA manufactured Oct 2011

2. Just watching channel TV stations

3. We subscribe to Bell Fibe TV, the Basic + 20 A la Carte channels. There is an APP button on the Bell Fibe remote which shows the Crave App but only for pay per view access.

4. No internet, Wi-Fi on the TV that I know about.

PS..We do have the Bell 15 internet service package which includes 15MBPS downloads, 10MBPS uploads and unlimited monthly usage. I'm not totally against upgrading a device to enable watching a streaming service, but  I'm 75 years old and a little concerned about doing any installation myself, I'm a bit technology challenged.

Based on the limited information you have provided I can only surmise that you are watching Fibe TV on your LG TV with a Bell Streamer that is connected by way of a Wi-Fi connection to your Bell Internet modem.

To access Crave on your Bell Streamer, go to the Apps Section & select the "Apps" button on your Bell Streamer remote. Select this the first time you wish to use the Crave app. You will need to log in If you have a Bell Mobility Crave subscription using your MyBell username and password.

Your question is somewhat ambiguous. In order to assist you & answer your question, we need to know additional detail. Which model of Smart TV do you have? Which Crave subscription do you have? Do you have a streaming device attached to your TV?

If your subscription is included with your mobility plan, you can access Crave on your TV in any number of ways:

Smart TV's:

  • Samsung SmartTV with Samsung Smart Hub: 2017 – 2023 models
  • Sony Android TV
  • LG Smart TV (OLED, NanoCell and UHD - 2017 Models and above)
  • RCA TV powered by webOS TV
  • Hisense & Toshiba Smart TVs using VIDAA U6+ OS
  • Chromecast

Connected Devices:

  • Amazon Fife TV
  • Android TV; OS 8.0+ Devices

My Bell subscription does not work even when my mobility plan has Crave Basic. My plan's description is "2yr 175GB US/FR Max + Crave Basic on us".
