Netflix stopped working on one of my receivers it’s giving me code 500. I called bell and they told me there is nothing they can do as you can only have Netflix play on the primary receiver since the update. Logically it’s hard to comprehend, can someone please help with the issue ?

Buy a common tv box without a live tv sub.

Why is Netflix no longer available ?

I was on the phone with Bell and yeah, you can’t get in with that receiver……….but if you upgrade to a higher costing receiver then you can get Netflix 🤬

Netflix says this is Bells creation … I have 4 tvs receivers now we have no Netflix on them … bell deleted the app not Netflix… Crave has nothing btw

thx Bell we haven’t had enough with Covid now we have to buy fire sticks or new tvs … thx for adding to landfill

I just got my phones moved to bell … I guess we will be looking for an alternative provider once again … sticks coming bell tv bye bye

If you liked watching Netflix through your Bell receiver(s) and now can’t - FYI you will have to pay an outrageous fee PER RECEIVER PER MONTH to ‘upgrade’ to get what you already had.

told by tech support I have to pay extra to upgrade my receivers in order to have access to Netflix. I will be calling around for other service providers.  I pay to have Fibe TV so that I can access from all my devices not just the main TV .

I can no longer access Netflix, apparently I need a new receiver. How do I exchange receivers ?

Hello I am getting a notification that my receiver no longer supports Netflix. Is there a receiver I can upgrade to? How do I swap out my old ones?

In order to provide a consistent and quality experience on all devices, Netflix has decided to discontinue their app on select TV receivers. The following Bell receivers are impacted: VIP 1200, 1216, 1232, 2202, 2262 and 2502. If your receiver is affected, a message will appear on your TV screen when you launch the Netflix app.

This change was introduced on July, 20, 2022

The decision to discontinue this app on select TV receivers does not affect access to your Netflix subscription. Find details below on ways to continue to enjoy Netflix.

Here is a Netflix link that will explain connections on Bell receivers: How to use Netflix on your Bell receiver

The Netflix app will still be available on the following Bell receivers:

  • Fibe TV Box (VIP 7802)
  • 4K Whole Home PVR (VIP 5662)
  • Bell Streamer

Netflix is not available on the VIP 2502 receiver. This was effective as of July 20, 2022.

The Netflix app is no longer be available on some Fibe TV HD receivers with the exception of the VIP 5662 and VIP 7802. Netflix is still available on the Bell Streamer or any supported third party equipment such as Firestick, Chromecast or Apple TV.
