I have been unable to access my TV channels since a thunderstorm on the weekend, I have been troubleshooting all week and nothing but a black screen with "No Signal" message. DO I need to have a technician come out?

Thank you for your concern. Have you checked to see what your actual signal strength is through the receiver? It may be your dish is out of alignment. For those without streaming ability, Bell Satellite TV is very useful, but like all technology, can have issues. You can also use the My Bell app on a tablet or on a PC or Mac as a web page, if you wish.

I use to love bell but last 3 years not so much and what’s funny when you say to use the app in Apple TV which I have switched over to I dot get all the channels I get when using the satellite. Bell seems to be turning into a terrible product lately . If you want me to stay with Bell come fix it for free. If not I am leaving after 12 years of paying you 125 bucks a month and only watch 5% of the channels cause most of them are garbage. Hate to be negative but bell needs a reboot with their own company. I bet your losing subscribers left right and centre with all the issues I see folks are having . I want my money back for the last year. It’s been bad TV

Hi there @gord
To confirm, you have one receiver in your home that you use, which is a 9241 and you are getting error 002?
Are there any obstructions outside on or around your dish?
Have you checked your signal and if so, can you share what it's at?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Hi. Signal strength on both receivers is 95 to 100 % satellite input one and 2 test is all good OK There is nothing blocking the dish Weird thing is that it is only a few channels that don’t work like tsn 1400 and tsn 1402 and golf channel and CTV regina ! Now I just checked hdtv setup in system set up and the tv was set at 720 vs 1080. Changed to 1080 and now I get the channels. O M G
Hopefully it stays working have no idea how two different tvs could change settings one day out of the blue

It is possible that your receiver has developed some issues. Perhaps contact Bell at 1 888 759-3477 and see if they can help.

Hi @Gowrish
Welcome to the Bell Community 🙂
Which TV receiver do you have, and is this affecting all of the receivers in your home?
Your TV reception will fluctuate if the Bell TV receiver loses signal from the dish. Has there been any severe weather in your area? Do you see any obstructions that may be blocking the signal such as foliage? Have you made any recent changes to your configurations or equipment set up?
To start, we recommend that you try the troubleshooting suggestions found in the article that we posted in this Helpful reply
Please let the Community know if you continue to have any trouble,

I've had internment service problems for 2 weeks. I called bell and the employee was helpful walking me through the usual steps. Non resultant. She said a service tech could be sent or for $75 paid by me.
Am I the only one questioning why I should be the one to pay to have their equipment fixed? Is this an opportunity to switch providers?
While we're at it. Explain to me how to set labels. The system won't accept error 002, error 015, technician

Good Day.
The Bell Community is a place for you to ask questions, find answers and share your thoughts. This is a true peer-to-peer community space. As such, we do not have access to your Bell Satellite account & billing details.
Which receivers to have? Are you renting this equipment, or did you purchase them outright?
You mentioned that you contacted Bell Satellite TV Tech support & that a number of tests were performed, and it was suggested that a technician be sent out. Have you made arrangements for this to take place?
Bell's Equipment repair fee is $75.00 if a technician must be sent out to adjust your dish or repair the wiring.
Error code 002 indicates that you are experiencing a satellite signal loss at your receiver.
I will assume that:
- You have checked all of the cable connections going in the receiver.
- A signal test has been performed.
- There are no obstructions blocking the dish signal, e.g. Leaf foliage, other blockages, etc.
- Satellite dish connections okay?
- No nicks or cuts in the wiring? Loose connectors?
Satellite TV error codes and troubleshooting : Troubleshooting Satellite TV error codes (bell.ca)
If you wish to book an appointment, you will need to contact Bell Satellite TV tech Support at: 1 888 759-3474
Take care.

No I haven't made arrangements yet. My schedule will not allow it and I was surprised that I would have to pay. I don't remember ever paying them for service in the past.
So for now I'll see if it improves, if not I'll eliminate those channels from my subscription.

We have been having issues with few channels getting codes 015 and when checking signals of satellite 82 is good but 91 we don’t have. Our dish is few of trees or any obstruction and has been in same location for 10 years. How would we know if our LNB is needing replaced??

Hi there @Cankids
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Bell Community.
Can you share which receiver model(s) you have, and if you have multiple receivers does it occur on all of them? Have you tried rebooting all of your equipment?
If your satellite signal is not showing Satellite 91 at all even after trying the troubleshooting steps above, you will most likely require a LBN replacement.
