Good Day.

Which make & model of TV or device are your trying to load Paramount+ on to?

If you have an existing Paramount+ subscription, you can stream on any connected, supported device — even if it’s different from the one you signed up on! Just select your device below for instructions.

On which devices can I watch Paramount+?

How can I watch Paramount+ on my connected device?

Take care & enjoy.

Had the same problem.  Was unable to download the Paramount Plus app on Google Play.  After trying for over an hour to find another way on Fibe I switched to my Ipad and downloaded the Paramount Plus app there through the App Store, and signed up and found the movie I wanted.  But did not really want to watch it on my IPad so went back to try again on Fibe tv and used the general search option for that movie in the menu, searching for the movie and it showed watch options which included the option to install Paramount Plus.  This worked, then I was able to sign in to the app using the email and password I had used to sign up on my IPad. Very frustrating but finally got it to work and was able to watch the movie via Fibe tv using Paramount Plus.  In case I helps the movie was Titanic 😊

Thank you for your question. You can not load or access additional providers beyond Netflix and Crave directly through the Bell device. You will need to download the Paramount+ app to your Smart TV through the Google Play store and accessing your programming from there. I believe the reason is related to licensing. Please check with your TV's manufacturer to determine program compatibility.

Thank you for the reply.

It's an Amazon 4 Series Fire TV.

What is odd, it that Paramount+ was working before using the PVR connection. Now it just opens to a blank screen, using the Bell Fibe remote.

If I don't use the PVR connection, (using the Fire TV Remote) Paramount+ still works.

I've Uninstalled & Reinstalled the Paramount+ app, same issue.

Paramount+ is the only app where I have this problem.

Thank you for your reply.

I have Apple TV, Disney+, Spotify, TSN, in addition to Prime, Netflix, Crave CTV, but it's only been recently that Paramount+ is not working.. Previously when it would open to a blank screen, I would exit it and go back in and usually it would work.. sometimes I'd have to repeat the process a couple of times.

I have downloaded the apps onto the tv, I believe that the apps were either from Bell or possibly Amazon Canada? Whatever the source is that you see on the tv screen.

Thank you for your reply.

The Paramount+ app is included with the Amazon 4 Series Fire TV. There obviously is a compatibility conflict having the same app installed on your Amazon Fire TV 4

Amazon Fire Smart TVs including:

  • Element 4k
  • Fire TV (2 series, 4 series)
  • Fire TV Omni (Omni series, Omni QLED series)
  • Fire TV - TCL Q6 4K QLED HDR
  • Funai Fire TV (4K, HD)
  • Grundig Fire TV (OLED 4k, Vision 5 HD, 7, 4k)
  • Insignia Fire TV (4k UHD, HD)
  • JVC Fire TV (2k, 4k, 4k with Freeview Play)
  • OK 4k Fire TV (2020)
  • Toshiba Fire TV (4k, 4k UHD, HD, V35 Series LED FHD/HD)
  • Xiaomi F2 4K (2021, 2023 model years)

Take care.

Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you for sharing this with all of the members of the Bell Community Forum.

I can only speculate that your issue in terms of watching Titanic has more to do with the Paramount + app on the Google Play store. The Paramount + app has a tendency to have access & connectivity issues from time to time.

Take care.
