Recording new episodes only on Bell Fibe

I’m trying to record only new episodes of a program on Fibe TV but there doesn’t seem to be that option. That option used to be available on Bell satellite, PVR.   Can somebody advise how to record new episodes only on the Fibe PVR.

Which Bell Fibe TV receiver / PVR do you have?

Model number VIP7802 - a little square box about the size (length and width) of Apple TV.  Not as thick/high as Apple TV.  We just got bell Fibe.  New receivers/service.

Which program were you trying to record?

Jimmy Fallon late show.  
Older episodes (repeat/reruns) are being recorded.  
previously, with bell satellite, we could choose an option “new episodes only” on the pvr.  

we are not interested in seeing older reruns. Have to delete them. Or we start them and realize it’s older, we’ve seen it already, and delete it. 
it’s a bit of a nuisance. With bell satellite we always had that option.

On Fibe TV it's called "first run only". I just checked on the app with CTV2 Toronto, both blue tag "new" and the button works.
