Receiving an error message stating that recording certain programs is not permitted. Pre saved shows are no longer recording. I've tried both mobile app and tv remote control. Its not a space issue

Good Day.

Can you provide the community with some further information so that we may assist you?

  1. Which Bell TV do you subscribe to? Fibe TV, Fibe TV app, or Satellite.
  2. Which TV package do you have? Starter, Good, Better, or Best.
  3. Do you have a modem? Model number?
  4. Which devices are you using to access recordings? Bell Streamer, Fibe TV app, Fibe TV box, etc.
  5. Have you verified your settings for previously saved recordings & series that may have been set up earlier & have since changed with the Fall tv schedule? E.g. Channel, Time of day, Show type, etc.
  6. Have you deleted the scheduled recordings & recreated them manually and or by using the time & channel shown on the guide?
  7. Are you experiencing this problem at home & & as well away from home?
  8. Are you trying to record or access a recording that is not recordable due to copyright laws?

Have you checked out these web links? Uses & limitations, etc.

What is Fibe TV app and how do I use it? (bell.ca)

Thank you for your concern. There are a number of reasons why you might get this message. They include digital rights to a show not allowing recording, you not having enough storage space to record a show or series, or exceeding the limit of feeds you can record. The last is true of Satellite TV. If you tell us what TV service you have we might be able to say more.

It may be a rights issue. I've noticed it with Bravo shows. I have several other series set to record and they all do, except for these. I have Bell Fibe better package and have had it for over a decade so I'm confident that it's not human error or a space issue.

Hi there @Sha444
Thank you for post and welcome to the Community.
Are you able to share which receiver model you have?
Are you also able to share which show's you're attempting to record that are giving you this error?
Looking forward to hearing back.
