Restart feature not appearing in Guide

Restart option does not appear on guide. How do I get it back? I have already rebooted the receiver.

When you got a new receiver, was it an upgrade? I currently have VIP5662. I think that's the latest version that they have. I'm not sure if it'll help if I replace it with the same.

Channel 717 FairChild is missing Restart Symbol again,Ticket # 8******* (April 14th, 2025)

Details of the situation   Ticket # 8*******; Channel 717 FairChild is missing Restart Symbol, To restart shows aired in the last 30 hours, look for the Restart icon in the guide. If the icon is missing, check the channel's show card or player controls for a Restart button. The WATCH option is missing on Channel 717, which always there before last Friday. Look for the Restart button on the program info page that you access by pressing the info button on your remote control. Please admit is a Bell supplier problem, not a customer equipment problem. You see it on the GUIDE page, when you compare between 716, 717, 718. 717 is different, so it is not my home equipment. Pointing fingers does not resolve problem in Canada. Please fix it. thank you!

Bell Fibe's Restart feature allows you to restart individual shows on certain channels. Not all channels & programs can be restarted. There are three ways to find out if you can restart a program:

  1. For shows already in progress, look for the Restart button in the channel peek bar that appears when you tune in to a channel, or by pressing the down arrow on your remote.
  2. Look for the Restart symbol in the guide beside the program name. The symbol can appear on shows that started in the past 30 hours. To find them, simply browse left on the guide using the arrows on your remote.
  3. Look for the Restart button on the program info page that you access by pressing the info button on your remote control.

When reading more postings. It seems to me that BELL screwed up the RESTART feature from time and time, and blamed customers missing symbol, or Restart feature not appearing in Guide. Customers don't make changes to PVR box when it is always working with the RESTART feature. Bell should be brave enough to admit Bell made mistakes, and feature is not appearing. I experience this issue few times, and Bell always fixed it after I try to tell Bell, it's missing RESTART feature. It is the responsibility of BELL to fix problem, after they screwed up customers. It's frustrating, and disappointing, that BELL blaming the victim, Bell customers. After a week now, Bell still saying my PVR box has not configure properly, which I did not screw around with Bell equipment when it's all working. So, stop pointing finger and blaming the customer. Channel 717 still missing the RESTART symbol after a week, and I do pay for the feature. Bell screwed up in 2022, 2024, 2025, almost once every year. go check my reported tickets.

An issue was found and has since been resolved. The Restart feature should be working again.
