Good Day.
Yes, it could be a receiver problem, however before we can assume that the issue is with the reciever, have you tried to do any troubleshooting? Have you contacted Bell Satellite TV? Have you done a reset on the receiver that is not working properly? Have you tried to re-sync your programming?
Let us start by:
- Please confirm that both receivers work or do not work on each satellite connection. This will prove that it is not the dish, LNB, cable, connectors, etc.
- Checking our Bell 9241 receiver's status by doing a soft rest by holding the POWER button on the front of the receiver for 5 to 8 seconds. If the issue persists, let's move on to the next step.
- Factory reset your Bell 9241 receiver. Factory reset Bell Satellite TV receiver 9241 HD PVR Plus receiver
- Troubleshooting? Are there any error codes on your receiver?
- Has this receiver been inactive for any significant period of time? If so, have you tried to re-sync your programming?

Good morning, @Mugen.
Thanks for your post, as well for all the info you've provided. Could you review these questions and provide some additional details?
- When the issues occurs, are you seeing any error message or code appear on your screen that you can share?
- Is your receiver in a well ventilated area?
- Do you know roughly how long ago this issue started?
- Are there any obstructions around your dish outside (snow, ice, leaves, trees, buildings, etc..)?
- Has your dish recently changed position (either by you moving it or the wind)?
Looking forward to hearing back from you. Best wishes.

- When this happens i get error on the screen that says "your satellite signal is temporarily unavailable".If I switch to another channel that is on nimiq 82 it works fine
- The receiver is on a stand in my basement were it has been since I've had for years and years.
- This started happening a few months ago
- There is no obstruction anywhere blocking the dish. The house is on top of hill with no trees or building around it.
- My dish hasn't move since I installed it which was a long time ago.

Sorry it too so long for the reply but finally got around to doing all the test.
1. Receiver 1 works all the time on all channels. Receiver 2 sometimes work on all channel and sometimes any channel that is on nimiq 91 I get error " your satellite signal is temporarily unavailable". Swapping the cables on the back of the receivers that come from the dish and receiver 1 still works fine and receiver still has issues.
2. Tried soft reset several time. Sometimes it fixes it but only last for 5-10 minutes and get the error again.
3. Factory reset the receiver and signal came back but only lasted 10 minutes.
4. Receiver hasn't been inactive. Been using daily for as long as I can remember.

Thanks for the update and the testing. I suggest that Receiver 2 is failing and needs to be replaced. It is obsolete and has been replaced by the 9500 (Whole Home PVR) and the 7500 (Whole Home Receiver). You can call Bell at 1-866-310-2355 to discuss your options.
