Hi @ASW,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
To access your favorite's list, you would need to select this when turning the television on. Please check out How to view a favourites list on Fibe TV
as we think this may assist.

I can only think of one cause.
If you enter a channel that is not on your Favourites List, whether it be intentional or not, or enter a channel numeric at any time while viewing your TV, that is not included in Favourites, your Guide will change to All channels. All channels if it is not customized & adjusted in the Guide, can include channels 1 - 2779. A pretty large list! Favourites is only those channels that you choose to add to this list. Favourites are included as a part of the All channel list. Confusing? Yes, but please follow my methodology.
There is no fix. This is normal.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with your PVR. You can keep changing the receiver but that is how it was designed to work! We might want it to do something that it is not designed to do.... but unfortunately that is not possible.
Favourites is just that! It is your choice of channels that you wish to watch on a somewhat selective basis. It is not all of the channels that are in your TV Package or any other channels that may wish to add to your subscription in the future.
You can reduce the number of times that this occurs by making some changes in your receiver settings.
On your remote control, Select the Menu button > Select Menu and guide > Scroll to Channel display > Select View subscribed & most popular channels > Select Save > Select the back/exit button on your remote > Scroll back to Customize guide & select. The channels that appear in All channels in your Guide will have a check mark. > You can Add or Remove the channels that you do not want to include in the Guide. E.g. If you do not subscribe to a specific channel, remove the check mark. If you wish to remove Multi cultural channels, English, French channels, etc. > Remove the check mark. When you are finished > Select Save > Select the back/exit button on your remote until you are back at your viewing TV screen.
Note: You will not be able to remove some specific channels such as Video on demand. Once you have completed these steps, you will now have an All Channels list that only includes the channels you subscribe to. In order to add or remove channels from your Favourites list, they must also be a part of the All channels list. The All channels list only needs to include whichever channels you wish to be part of your Favourites plus any other channels that you may choose to watch occasionally that are included in your TV package.
If you want all 2779 channels on your All Channels or Favourites lists you can do so. They may not all work if they are not included in your TV package. It is a matter of choice. You get to choose!
You can add or subtract channels from any list by adding or removing a check mark beside the channel & saving the change. Remember: Favourites must always be on the All channel list!
Enjoy! Hopefully I have been of assistance to you.

Hi everyone 🙂
@WelshTerrier is correct. When you tune into a channel that is not on your Favorites list, you will be returned to the All Channels list.
At that time you will see a message briefly appear on your screen indicating that you have been returned to the All channels list.

To easily switch back to your Favorites list simply tune into a live channel and hit the right arrow button. The 'view menu' will then appear allowing you to select your Favorites lists.

Hi
That is what I have to do at present. I have chosen to show my favorite but it many occasions It goes back to all channels is what I do not want it to do. If I want I can always go to all channels. So I have for a time being found a work around. By unchecking all the channels to which I am not subscribed in all channels and only mark the one which I have subscribed to.

Hi @ASW ,
An alternate option would be to customize your Fibe TV guide to the hide channels you do not wish to see. Check out this article How to customize the channel guide on Fibe TV
Hope this helps and the Community is here if you have any further questions.

I have a smart TV I have done what @BellNick has suggested removed all channels which I do not want to see or do not subscribe to so I only see channels which I want to see does not matter which guide I am on that is a work around but there should be a way to set a default guide which should remain what you choose from setup and mine is selected as favorite

Talking about the Favourite List, does part of it disappear suddenly sometimes for you? I have a list of 280+ channels across two lists and I’ve encountered this problem for around half dozen times since Dec.

Hey there @AlexS, thanks for your post.
Interesting! Does the list restore itself after a reboot, or do you have to set everything back up?

Nah, not at all. It’s a partial loss of the list and has happened to me for five times already since the switchover to the latest dvr in early December. Usually I don’t immediately replenish the list after noticing.
For the first few times I discovered a few days after setting up and I had several reboots during this period. The delay is because the list has 264 channels (yeah, cause I put lots of world-famous channels and almost the whole time-shift pack in the list too lol) and those disappeared usually are not the one I was subscribing. Then last night I discovered that it actually can merely survive for few minutes. The list partially disappear again before me completing the double-check!!!
Personally I’m ok to check the listing via mobile apps, but it’s definitely not ok after people aged at least middle-aged. Is there a max limit for the list? I know the dvr can never be filled with 320h of content, including the latest box. And I cannot type the name of a self-created list in lower case and I have to click characters with remotes because the keyboard is still the old one on 5662 box.

I have a problem with my PVR.
I set up Favourites and out of the blue the PVR changes it back to All Channels.
Not sure why this is happening. I have been in touch with Bell for almost 2 months about this problem…and so far no resolution. They sent me another identical PVR and the same thing happened again. I have reset the PVR and still the same problem.
Does anyone have an answer ?
Thanks….Peter Young

I hate this 'feature' where it switches back to all channels. If I wanted all channels, I wouldn't have a favourites list.
Please consider putting a setting on the Fibe TV box to always use the favourites list and not to switch back to all channels. Another enhancement you can do for the All Channels list is the ability to allow us NOT to show the gazillion VOD channels that some of us will never use.

This isn't a feature. It's a bug and super annoying one. Let me restate it in simple English. When you customize both your guide and your channels so that they ONLY DISPLAY favourites it should be consistent. It isn't. Every 10 days or so it reverts, all by itself, to displaying all channels. The only solution is to reboot this the Android receiver. Why is Bell pretending this isn't an issue?
