Hi, I wanted to reach out to ask why you have not included a Fast Forward option in your Bell TV App? This is very irritating when you stop a show or accidently restarts the show and there is no way to get back to the spot you last watched. This would put your application at the same level of user gui interface options as all the other streaming apps. How long before you can make the fast forward option available?

Hi there @Newfiemom39,
Thanks for your post and welcome to the Bell Community.
Depending on the device you are using Fast Forward is available on Fibe TV.
Check out How to move forward and backward in a show with the Fibe TV app on Android TV
& How to move forward and backward in a show with the Fibe TV app on Apple TV
While using the Restart feature the fast forward option is not normally available. We have a great support article you can review as well What is Restart and how do I use it?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi there @Newfiemom39
If you are watching Live TV or On Demand then the fast forward function is not available. However, you can fast forward any recorded programs.

I am using my phone. Samsung s20. I am using the bell fibe app and I am logged into my account. There is no fast forward or skip forward option. Your security policies prevent me screen shotting what I see.

Hi. Just yesterday we upgraded from slow old DSL to the new FIBE 1.5Gbps. The internet speeds are awesome. The picture quality of the FIBE TV is great. However, we can’t seem to fast forward through commercials in previously recorded shows. The cost of the service is not cheap. With out BELL Satellite physical PVR, it was easy to FF and RW through shows. I will not tolerate forced ads in shows that are recorded. If BELL are forcing FIBE TV customers to be inundated with ads IN RECORDED material, they take it and go pound sand. We’ll switch back to BELL Satellite.
Is this the same for other FIBE /GigaHub/FIBE TV 7802 customers? Can anyone else FF through the commercials in recorded shows?

I have never experienced anything like this before. Are you sure it’s a recording instead of vod?

I have also just switched from Bell Satellite to Five TV and am also quite disappointed at the lower level of user experience. With a Satellite PVR, I was able to start recording a 3-hour sports event, start watching it about one hour in, and then fast forward through play stoppages and commercials. With Fibe TV, it is impossible to do this until te event is over and recording has stopped. Not to mention the 60-day limit for PVR recordings, even if only one show is recorded so very little memory storage is used. Frankly, I now regret my decision to drop Satellite TV.

I agree, I also just changed from Bell satellite TV with PVRs to Bell Fibe TV and it .s. Why do you have to wait with Bell Fibe TV until a program is done recording before you can fast forward thru commercials? It makes no sense. Very disappointed with my decision to go back with Bell. I should have went with Rogers or another TV/internet carrier. That's why I got such a good deal because the service is crap.

I just today switched to Bell Fibe TV. I am watching a recording of the Jays game. I do not understand why FF does not work. We have for years (with Rogers) allowed the ball game to start recording for an hour or so, and then start watching, with fast forward capability. If this is how Bell is intentionally designed, I am VERY disappointed only a few hours into my experience.

This is how I watch all games. MLB NFL NHL. Can I no longer do this? Moderator, do you have information for me? Honestly, this might be a deal breaker.
