Last night, everything was working fine watching live or recorded TV on VIP7802. This morning, it went crazy. The screen did not show the large picture at the top, beside the description of the show as we moved through the guide; just a blank area, The guide was showing 'subscribed and popular' channels. Using the 'settings' menu to change guide filter, it would not accept my selection of 'favourites'; no check mark appeared, and it stayed on sub+pop. More and more channels appeared on the guide each time we scrolled through it beginning-to-end. Mostly we got an "unsubscribed" message if we selected a channel not in our package, but we were able to watch some channels that weren't in our package. I did a full reset, and everything went back to the way it was.
Although I really don't like some of the new UI, at least it has been working stable without any major inconveniences - until now. Is Bell pushing out any updates, or would they even tell us if they did?
