Will Bell Fibe TV App work on TCL (brand) Google OS Smart TV with built-in Chromcast?

Regarding the three compatible TV systems listed on the Bell site (Sony Android TV, nVIDIA Shield and Xiaomi Mi Box), before we purchase a new TV, would the following work with Fibe TV: TCL brand with Google OS smart TV with built-in Chromcast?

Our goals are: 1) to run the Fibe App on a new Smart TV without a receiver (as our older TV has a receiver, and this allows PVR’ing); 2) to enjoy programming without freezing and/or buffering, as we have a high capacity fibe internet connection.

GoogleTV is just the next iteration of Android TV.

The Fibe app will work on your TV - no box needed.

Reminder: TCL is more closely related to the biggest Communist Party on earth than a number of other popular TV brands in western countries. It's best not to use this kind of brand to be future-proof.
