Will a Bell 6131 receiver work with a Wineguard G3 GM-9000 portable satellite dish or is it only compatible with a Bell 6400

I'm looking to purchase a portable satellite dish (Winegard G3 GM-9000 portable) to use when on weekend getaways in my RV. They are quite pricey so I would rather check compatibility prior to purchase. I've heard that only the Bell 6400 receiver will work and then only if it's a newer special Bell 6400 receiver. Is there anyone that can shed some information on this. Many thanks Ron

As a Bell Satellite TV customer, you can enjoy your existing Bell Satellite TV service at a second location such as a cottage, vacation property or second home. Only one location can be active at a time. If you're at your second location, you must call us to disable the receivers in your main home.

If you wish to have active receivers in two locations at once, you must open a second Bell Satellite TV account.

If a receiver is installed in a mobile unit such as a camper, boat or other recreational vehicle, only one active receiver will be allowed on the account.

Please call us at 1 888 759-3474 to open a second Bell Satellite TV account, to disable the receivers in a location or for more information regarding this policy.

FYI Only.

The Winegard G3 GM-9000 is only compatible with the Bell 6400 HD in Canada. The Winegard G3 will not work with newer receivers or PVRs. Winegard Carry Out G3 Bell Portable Dish White (GM-9000)

Thanks for your prompt reply. Didn't know it was that complicated.  I guess I'll forget this Bell dish idea and enjoy whatever comes over the air.
