Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
Could you please provide us with some further details?
- Have you previously setup your Bell Call Answer voicemail on Bell Home phone? or
- Have you forgotten your Bell Call Answer voicemail password?
- Are you the account holder? Is the account in your name?
If you have previously setup your Bell Call Answer voicemail on Bell Home phone and have simply forgotten your password you can reset your password by choosing method 1 or 2 below.
- You can reset your voicemail password through MyBell at no charge. Log in to MyBell. Select > Home phone service. Select > View My package & features. Scroll down the page & Select > Go to Voicemail manager & follow the onscreen instructions to change your password.
- You can also reset your password by calling 6-1-1 from any Bell Home phone.
If you have not setup your Bell Call Answer voicemail previously on Bell Home phone, you can do so by following these instructions:
Setting up Call Answer
You will need to enter your temporary initial password. This is your 7-digit telephone number (no area code).
- From home, dial *98 . If away from home call 1-877-235-5777 and when prompted for your mailbox number, enter your 10-digit home telephone number.
- When prompted to enter a temporary password, enter your 7-digit telephone number (no area code)
- Follow the prompts to change the temporary password to a new one. It should be 4 to 15 digits and cannot start with 0.
- Follow the prompts to record your name or telephone number as a personal identification.
- Follow the prompts to record a personal greeting that callers will hear or select the pre-recorded greeting.
- Press the * key to exit. Your Call Answer is now activated.
I have included the follow support document that will answer any further questions that you might have. Please refer to the Troubleshooting section: I forgot my Call Answer password.
