Microsoft Teams calls dropping because the internet cuts out.

Kentville friends, I'm looking for some advice.

I've been with Bell since the MT&T days, so I've been a very loyal customer. I work from a home office and, over the past month or so, my Microsoft Teams calls have been randomly dropping because the internet suddenly cuts out.

To be honest, our Wi-Fi has never been great. We live in a small house in Kentville, so I really shouldn't have to be hovering beside the modem just to get a reliable signal. Bell replaced our modem last year with what was supposed to be the latest model, but it hasn't made much of a difference.

I'm starting to wonder if it's time to switch providers. If you've moved away from Bell in the Kentville area, who did you switch to, and have you been happy with the service? Or, if you've had similar issues with Bell, were they able to fix them?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences before I make a decision. Thanks!

Is it the internet that drops out, or the Wifi signal?

Are there any error codes on the modem display when this happens?

If it is a WiFi channel issue, you can increase the signal strength and resolve most issues with Bell WiFi Pods.

You can also run the virtual assistant to try and fix any issues you might have.Virtual Repair Tool
