Thank you for your concern. Can you please provide more specific information? What type and model of phones do you have? What is your general location? Have you run the Virtual Repair Tool and the Bell WiFi app? What are the results reported? More information would help us to narrow down the possible issues you are concerned about.

Hey there @Ch1371 ,

Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.

Like @dks mentioned, it is important to provide as much details as possible when facing service issues. On top of what was already asked, please provide the following:

Cellular Data

  • Are you experiencing slow speeds everywhere, or just in your immediate neighborhood?
  • What signal bar strength does your phone display when you are indoors versus outdoors?
  • Does your phone screen display 5G, 4G, or LTE next to the signal bars?
  • Have you tried restarting your phone and/or toggling airplane mode on and off?
  • Are other Bell users nearby experiencing the same slow data speeds?

Home Internet

  • Is the physical Bell modem showing any red or flashing warning lights?
  • Does the internet work normally if you connect a laptop directly via Ethernet cable?
  • How many devices are actively streaming or downloading files at the same time?
  • Is the slow speed happening near the modem, or only in far corners of the house?
  • Have you tried unplugging the modem power cord for 30 seconds to reboot it?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

I don't know where to start, pre Covid Bell had amazing cellular reception at my home, and wifi was strong and consistent. Now nothing changed at home, no new electronics, nothing. My cellular, both phones, a Samsung s26 ultra and an apple air, will drop lines when we make calls. I'm in sales and I work from home and I can't even make phone call, I had to rent an office and work from there! Now Wifi signal is even worst. I went thru 3 bell most recent router, on both 5hz and 2.4hz download is fine but I got a maximum of 15 to 30 upload. If I get closer to the router its better but my house is very small! I can't even use IP wifi calls.. I'm paying 260$ per month and I got text and phone calls saying they were working on fixing calls quality and then I get a text that no, its canceled..should I give up Bell all together??? I can't afford canceling fees..

Hi,

For internet I paid a Bell tech to come in and test the network, even found issue with the last router and replaced it. He would not move the router to another place due to liability even if I paid 100$ to Bell for diagnostic.

We get packed loss thru the house and the tech confirmed it and said there is nothing Bell can fix to run cable, which we cannot. Again this never happened with the Bell 3000 router or even the Virgin/Bell router back in 2020. Cable works fine but I can only run 1 cable and I'm not going to run an ethernet cable to our phones...

For internet We went thru all the diagnostic test etc.

For cellular we have Samsung S26 ultra and IPhone Air. Both wifi lag and the network bar is 4 bar to 1 bar with no LTE or 5G besides it. Battery on our phone discharge quickly as well. Phone calls will die mid call and I have to move near my entrance. If the call is not dropped, the line is terrible and robotic. We restarted the phones 10000 times, made sure all updates are installed. And yes we have an official deadspot zone in the middle of Val-Belair and Aéroport in Québec city. I even received multiple calls from Bell saying they we're sorry for the bad network and that Bell is aware and working on it. I also received a text message from Bell saying they were upgrading the network.

My point is, I need my phone calls to work for my work. Either wifi or LTE. I took a photo of the network strength it will go 5G 1 bar to 4 bars up and down sitting in the same spot.
