Webmail panel size issues - cannot see the complete email panel

Some time ago when the webmail app was updated there was a problem with the panel size.  I had to scroll right to access the settings.

This problem is back for me.  No matter what I change on my laptop, I cannot see the complete email panel.  Is there a fix for this now.  Last time it was indicated that the techs had to make account changes.  I have about 6 email addresses within my webmail account.

Thank you for posting your question. Can you please provide us with further information & specific details? I have verified your issue on three different browsers, & I am unable to recreate the issue you are experiencing.

  • How are you accessing your Bell email account? E.g. Edge, Safari, Google, etc.
  • You mentioned that you are experiencing this issue on your laptop. Have you tried accessing your webmail using a different computer, device or web browser to see if you can replicate this issue?
  • Which operating system are you using? Microsoft Windows 10 or 11, MAC OS, Linux, etc.
  • I can only assume that you are using your browser to compose your emails. Have you checked your browser settings?

You can resize the compose & every other Bell webmail window if you adjust your browser window size when it opens up. E.g. Maximize, Restore size or resize the browser manually. These are windows within a window.

If you use the minimize button in the web mail it closes the compose screen. To go full screen, you need to adjust your browser window....... not the webmail window.

  • Have you made any recent changes to your screen resolution and / or text sizes in your operating system or from within your browser?
  • Have you made any changes to your webmail View settings > Preview pane? E.g. Vertical, Horizontal & List.

I had this problem before when the upgraded email program was first released. Someone some where made changes to something and everything was right with the world.

"Someone some where made changes to something and everything was right with the world." does not tell us a lot about the problem you are experiencing. "Upgraded email program"?

How are you accessing your webmail with Firefox? Firefox browser or Firefox's email client - Thunderbird

Adjusting panel sizes in Firefox on Windows 11 can refer to several different things.

Are you experiencing issues with the size of the text or images on just this one page? Bell Webmail only?  Windows 11? Thunderbird? Firefox browser?

Have you invertedly made any changes to your Accessibility features in Firefox?

To make the content of the page larger or smaller or larger in the Firefox web browser:

  • Select > Menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
  • Use the + or - buttons in the "Zoom" section.
  • Alternatively, hold Ctrl and use the mouse wheel to zoom.
  • Use Ctrl + 0 to reset to 100%

Windows 11 text bigger accessibility settings affect all the UI and content pages, rather than only applying to system font sizes. To find accessibility options in Windows 11:

  • Go to the Windows > Start button.
  • Select > Settings. 
  • Select > Accessibility.  You will find a list of choices. There are eight vision options. Text size adjusts the size of the text across all apps.
  • To revert text back to normal, reset Windows "Make text bigger" setting to 100%.
