Scam call offering deal on adding extra people to my current mobile account?

I have received a number of calls from 800-220-****. If I tell Google to screen the call, they hang up after the message telling them that the call is being screened. They offered me a deal on adding extra people to my current account. They did not call the phone number that is with Bell. They phoned a number that is with Fido. I want to block this number if it is bogus. I don't want to block it if it really is Bell. No, I did not give them any personal information, not even whether or not I live with people I might want to add to my Bell account.

Use the Bell phone and dial *611. Or dial 310-Bell from any phone.

Google search the number and see if it comes to Bell.
But I’ll say this, I get these calls at least twice per week. They are very much a scam. My calls love to add line to my Rogers mobility when I don’t even have Rogers. They are going by old data when my phone number was on Rogers.

You want a multi-line deal, call Bell or Fido yourself.

Kudos to you!

Thank you for reaching out and sharing this unfortunate situation with the membership of the Bell Community.

Fraudsters can impersonate anyone or any company that they wish to be in order to steal from you.

Reputable companies such as Bell, banks, utilities & highly regarded services & institutions do not send you messages or make calls such as this! They do not call you asking to provide personal information.

Never share any personal information with anyone you do not know or trust! Do not open web links or messages in emails or text messages!

Remember when in doubt call Bell directly.

Take care.

I will say this is common problem I still get calls it says Telus and we switch to Roger’s and I will say it is a scam and also you can tell two there English is bad and phone line is bad . And bell better phone line . And I say it annoying and it is problem .

I tried finding a number to contact Bell with no luck. Do I just use the Bell phone and dial zero, like back in the day? Is there somewhere on the Bell website that has a contact phone number?
