I just purchased a new Samsung OLED TV, my satellite is now giving me an error message 015. I can’t change the input, it’s stuck on this screen.
is it possible that my receiver (model 9241) is too old to be compatible with the tv?

Good Day & Welcome.
Thank you for posting your question.
Your Bell Satellite 9241 receiver is compatible with your new Samsung OLED TV.
Error code 015 means your satellite receiver has lost its signal and is trying to reconnect.
Your new Samsung TV will have a Smart device manager that will walk you through the setup of your Bell satellite receiver with your TV. Did you power your satellite receiver fully off before connecting the HDMI cable to your input port on your TV?
Please unplug your satellite receiver from the HDMI port on your TV and unplug its power source. Wait a few minutes, then plug your satellite receiver back in and allow it to reacquire the satellite. Now plug your satellite receiver in to your TV and then power your Samsung TV back on.
Follow the Samsung TV instructions for adding your satellite receiver to your TV.
Connect an HDMI cable to the ARC/eARC port, enable Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) in the TV settings, and change the sound output to Receiver (HDMI).
- Turn on both your Samsung TV and the receiver.
- Press the Home button on your Samsung remote, go to Settings, and select All Settings (or Sound).
- Choose Sound Output and change it to Receiver (HDMI).
- Navigate to Settings > General > External Device Manager and make sure Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is turned On.
If you continue to see the error code 015 at the top-right corner of the error message on your TV, please note the following:
Are you experiencing bad weather conditions in your region?
Water-heavy clouds, hail, wet snow and freezing rain are the most problematic weather conditions that could affect your signal. If weather conditions are affecting your signal, you may not see a change until the weather has improved.
If the weather is not the issue, check the following:
- Loose/missing connections: Check that the cable coming from the satellite dish is connected to Satellite In on the back of your receiver. Dual tuner receivers need one cable connected to each of the Satellite In spots at the back of your receiver.
- Reset your receiver: On most models, simply hold the POWER button on the front of your receiver for 5 to 8 seconds. Allow the receiver to turn on, search for the satellite signal and download the guide. During this process, it is normal to see Error 015 and Attention 330 on your TV screen.
- Check your power inserter: If you have an HD PVR or multiple receivers on your account, you may have a device called a power inserter to power your satellite installation. Check to ensure it is still plugged into a power outlet.
If the problem persists, let us know. We're here to help.
Take care.
