Just contacted Bell and got the same deal.  $7 credit on my account so no charge to change to the Giga Hub 2.0.  Thanks for the tip.

I’m not sure it’s worth it for just the router either.  If they gave you a couple pods with that $7, maybe. I’ve been having issues with my router so I was hoping they were replacing existing ones.
