Bell

I have 2 Slim remotes that were given to me from a neighbor - the original remote failed . When I try to program or pair the units as per the steps from Bell the remote will not work . The Green lights flash but the remote ID doesnt change on my rece...

These fixes still did not fix my problem 

It is an older one I was given from a neighbour . Are there different units that may not work , maybe older units ? 

I have a slim remote but cant get it to sync with the 6500 controller. Is there a step I am missing ?
