Bell Satellite TV Remotes

I have attached a link for your review that provides the compatible remotes for your receiver. The Slim remote is only compatible with specific Satellite & Fibe TV receivers.

It might work if it’s RF. I know both Bluetooth Slim and Voice remotes work on 5662, 7802 and Bell Streamer, but the tiny Streamer remote doesn’t work on the other two Bell boxes.

I know this is an older thread but it sounds like from what AlexS says above the Bell Slim remote for vibe tv would work on a bell streamer? I just wanted to confirm that. Below is the remote I am wondering would work streamerPXL_20261006_210511458.jpg

Good Day & Welcome

Thank you @Tyler4 for posting your question.

The Bell Slim remote is not compatible with the Bell Streamer. It is programmable for use with most TVs. It will not control your Bell Streamer.

It is compatible with Home PVR & receiver models VIP2262, VIP1232, VIP1216, VIP1200, VIP2202, VIP2102 and VIP2502.

Unfortunately, you can no longer buy a new Bell Streamer as a standalone device. Bell no longer sells them.

However, you don't need dedicated hardware. You can simply download the Fibe TV App onto a Smart TV and or purchase an affordable, alternative streaming device such a Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Roku device, etc.

Before going out and replacing your Bell Streamer, have you tried to do any troubleshooting? Sometimes the most obvious and simplest of solutions can resolve problems such as this:

  • Replacing the remote-control batteries.
  • Fully powering off the device by unplugging it from the power source.
  • Use the Bell Streamer remote or click the physical box button to Factory reset.
  • Sticky buttons on the remote control.
  • Line of sight between remote control & the device.
  • etc.

Let us know,

Take care.
