It might sound simple, but checking that your cables are connected properly and rebooting your modem really does fix most issues.

If you’ve already tried all that, then our Virtual repair tool is a great way to troubleshoot problems with your Wi-Fi and Internet service – without having to be a tech expert.

With a few clicks, it detects and fixes issues remotely, so you don’t have to call support. It’s like your own personal repair technician – just sit back and let it do all the work.

The Virtual repair tool will:

  • Look for service outages in your area
  • Check the equipment outside your home
  • Reboot all your hardware
  • Optimize the settings for your service

If it can’t solve the problem, the tool will even help you book a technician appointment.

I tried the virtual repair tool a couple of times. It started running, but never completed. It said it would take 7 minutes to reset the modem, but after I saw (by looking at the Giggahub) that the modem had been reset, it just kept running. I turned it off after I came back from having a shower. I gave up on it.
