In the below instructions and companion video, we show how to complete the self-install for Bell pure fiber services - including Internet, Fibe TV receivers, Home phone and Wi-Fi Pods.

1. Getting Started

  • Check Your Equipment: Before you begin, make sure you have all the equipment, which may include the Giga Hub 2.0 modem, Fibe TV receivers, and Wi-Fi Pods.

2. Modem Installation

  • Connect Modem to Fibre Jack: Use the fibre cable provided. Plug one end into the modem and the other end into the wall-mounted fiber jack.
  • Power Up: Plug the modem’s power cord into an electrical outlet. The modem will begin to boot up and configure, which can take up to 15 minutes.
  • Connect Your Devices: Once the modem setup is complete, you can connect your Wi-Fi devices. The Wi-Fi network name and password can be found on the modem's control panel.

3. Additional Equipment Setup

  • Wi-Fi Pods (If applicable): If you have Wi-Fi pods, plug them into electrical outlets in different areas of your home. You will need to download the Bell Wi-Fi app to complete their setup.
  • Home Phone (If applicable): For home phone service, plug your phone cord into the port labeled "TEL1" on the back of the modem.

4. Fibe TV Setup

  • Fibe TV App: You can set up Fibe TV by downloading the Bell Fibe TV app on a smart TV or a streaming device.
  • Fibe TV Receiver (If applicable):
    • Connect the Fibe TV receiver to your television using the provided HDMI cable.
    • Plug the receiver's power cord into an electrical outlet.
    • Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input.
    • Follow the instructions that appear on your screen to finish the installation.

5. Activating Subscriptions

  • Activate Services: For subscription services like Crave, Netflix, or Disney+, find the activation email from Bell. Click the "Activate now" link in the email and log in to your MyBell account to complete the registration.
