I have made multiple attempts to schedule a technician for my internet repair only for the technical “support” team give me the complete run around and waste my time. First, someone from the team confirms that the technician is booked for the following morning between 8am-12pm, and when nobody has shown up by then, I call again, only for the next person to tell me they are scheduled between 12pm-5pm. I wait until 4:30pm, and when I still haven’t received a call from the technician, I call back, only for them to tell me that the person before had not completed the ticket so there is nobody coming. So that is a full day work that I have now wasted.
This goes on for TWO MORE DAYS at which point they send me a message that there is an outage in the area due to wires being cut and there is someone coming to fix it. I am told it is resolved, and while I am out of town for the weekend, I get multiple texts and calls saying a technician is coming by, even though there was never an appointment made and I am not in town to give them access. I then schedule a technician for the following Monday, which I receive a confirmation for, but Monday rolls around and again, NOBODY SHOWS UP. I call tech support, they make some nonsense up and then proceed to put me on hold for an obscene length of time to “check” with support before hanging up on me.
I am now convinced that I’m being jerked around. Someone from the loyalty department needs to fix this and compensate me for my lost time and no service.
