Good Day & Welcome.
Thank you for posting your question.
Yes, you can get internet at your cottage, but availability depends heavily on your specific location.
Options for Bell at your cottage typically include:
- Wireless Home Internet (WHI): Bell is rapidly expanding fixed-wireless broadband in cottage country. It works by connecting a small antenna outside your cottage to a nearby cell tower, delivering speeds up to 50 Mbps. E.g. Wireless Home Internet Plans | Bell Internet | Bell Canada
- Fibe Internet to the Cottage: In some highly developed or populated lake regions, Bell offers their Fiber-to-the-Home network. Bell Internet offers month-to-month plans, which can be ideal if you prefer no long-term contracts or are looking for temporary service. However, these plans generally more expensive.
- Bell offers a Temporary Service Suspension for its home internet, allowing you to pause your connection for 1 to 6 months while keeping your modem and account active. This is perfect for cottages or extended travel, letting you avoid full monthly fees but requiring a one-time suspension fee of: $49.
- Temporary suspensions
For further detail, please contact Bell Customers Service, Shopping & orders at: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device.
Monday to Friday: 8 a.m - 9 p.m. Weekends: 9 a.m - 6 p.m.
Take care.
