Contacted Bell Apr 22 re changing service from Cogeco. Was offered deal for 2 years.
Apr 27: Bell Fibe installed. 108 metres of exposed cable left behind seven properties. Was told it would be buried in a couple of weeks.
June 14: Called to note cable still not buried. Cable coincidentally cut that day. No internet. No Tv.
June 15: Notified Bell that cable cut. Appointment made for repair June 16. 8 am -5 pm.
June 16: Call from Bell in morning. Call was cut off. Called Bell immediately. Told everything ok and appointment going ahead. Gave them my wife's phone number just in case. Waited all day for Bell to show.
June 16: 5:30 pm. No bell no service, no call. I called Bell for explanation. Spoke to agent who came up with a bunch of excuses. Said couldn't be repaired until June 30. Specialty repair. Said technician had come and saw the repair was beyond their capability.
I said this was unacceptable. Asked to speak to manager. Put through to someone who said a case number had been created and a manager would call me within 24 hours.
June 17: 11:30 am. No call. Called Bell again. Another agent. Explained situation all over again. She said the appointment June 16 had been cancelled - by me. Then dug into the appointment and said June 30 appointment was actually to bury the cable. Not a repair. I demanded faster service as I needed the internet for work and other uses. After much discussion she said a technician would come that afternoon. Technician arrived about 12:30. Simple cable repair completed. No call from case number or manager. No follow up from Bell. Was told by technician cable would be buried by June 30.
June 26: Receiving missed calls from Bell. No messages.
June 28: Sent first letter to Bell asking for response.
June 29: Sent letter twice again. Got reply (automatic) from Bell saying Escalation received. Told a team member would be in contact within 3 days.
June 29: Was receiving more missed phone calls from Bell. No messages. Called Bell asked what calls about. They were from agents selling more features.
June 30: No buried cable, no call, no information. 108 metres of cable still exposed.
July 3: Still no calls from Bell. Called Bell. Spoke to "resolution expert". After explaining whole situation again, he said cable would be buried July 29 - over 3 months after the installation. He claimed he couldn't see any ticket for the supposed burial on June 30. Didn't seem to know I had been referred to a resolution specialist previously. More excuses.
