How do I cancel my Sympatico account while keeping my bell internet service

To cancel your Belll Symaptico email account, you need to do the following: Login to MyBell.

  1. Login to MyBell.
  2. Go to your user Login name, top right corner main page.
  3. Scroll down & select My profile.
  4. This will take you to My profile.
  5. On the right side of the screen you will see your Contact email.
  6. Edit this to whatever your new Contact email will be for Bell to reach you & save this new contact address.
  7. Select Internet under Service profiles.
  8. Select > Manage your Bell email addresses & choose Edit.
  9. This will open a another screen with your Bell Email addresses.
  10. Select the addresses to delete.
  11. Select the trash can & follow the prompts.
  12. Exit out of this screen after saving & back out to MyBell.

"Please note the following"

**Bell no longer provides email accounts! Once you delete this account you can no longer create a new Bell email account and / or recover anything left behind in any of your account folders.**

You are required to provide a contact email address when setting up and using your MyBell account. It is necessary for:

  • Registration: Creating your online account requires an email address on file.
  • Security (MFA): Multi-factor authentication requires an email to receive one-time verification codes.
  • Account recovery & Notifications: It is used for password resets, e-bill alerts, and appointment confirmations.

Your Sympatico email address is stored in MyBell. If you choose to delete your Sympatico email, then you will need to provide Bell with another contact email address before deleting this email account. To cancel your Bell Symaptico email account, you need to do the following:

  1. Login to MyBell.
  2. Go to your user Login name, top right corner main page.
  3. Scroll down & select My profile.
  4. This will take you to My profile.
  5. On the right side of the screen you will see your Contact email.
  6. Edit this to whatever your new Contact email will be for Bell to reach you & save this new contact address.
