I requested to the technician that I want my modem be fixed in the mainfloor instead in the basement, he said that if that is what I want then he has to make a new hole on the wall from outside to inside and i said it is ok with me. But he didn't do it. Now the inter signal im getting when I am in the backyard is not the same. Im only getting 1 bar signal.
What should I do i really want the modem in the mai floor of the house.

Good Day & Welcome
Thank you for your question.
Without being there at the time of the installation, it is somewhat difficult to assess the situation & answer your question.
If you requested that the technician install your modem on the main floor instead of in the basement & he said "if that is what you wanted & he agreed to do it, do you know why this was not done?
Did the technician offer up an explanation to you as to why he could not do what you asked him to do?
Were you home at the time of the installation?
Have you reached out & discussed with Bell Customer Service? If not, then if you are not satisfied, then you should call Bell and explain this matter to them.
Keep in mind there is no guarantee even if you move your modem to the main floor of your home, that you will be able to fully cover the inside and outside of your home including your backyard.
Bell does offer Wi-Fi pods that will extend your Wi-Fi internet signal.
Bell Wi-Fi pods are mesh network extenders. They are designed to eliminate dead zones and boost signal strength in larger homes or areas with heavy interference. They pair seamlessly with your existing Bell modem (like the Home Hub 4000 or Giga Hub) and are managed using the Bell Wi-Fi App.
What are Whole Home Wi-Fi pods and how do I use them? : What are Wi-Fi pods?
Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Take care.
