Good morning, I’m a Canadian resident driving to US then boarding a 7 day cruise to the Bahamas. What kind of coverage is the best?  I am purchasing on board the ship an Internet package but was curious what ours cover. Thanks for any help.

Good Day & Welcome

I will try to answer your question as best I can with the limited information you have provided.

Bell's travel passes and roaming do not include cruise ships and in-flight services. There is no need for you to turn roaming off. If you choose to use your device while on a cruise ship or on in-flight services, then yes you could be charged.

The safest and easiest way to avoid all charges is to power your device completely off, remove your SIM card and when you arrive at a location that is included as part of your international plan, reinsert your SIM card and power your device back on.

You will still be able access Bluetooth & the local Wi-Fi network even though your SIM card has been removed. Simply power device back on, after the SIM card has been removed.

Enjoy your trip.

Take care.
