Hi,
I have a cell tower on a property that could be leased to add a bell antenna and was wondering if I could get the contact info for the department that deals with this?

I also live in an area near Westover Ontario with poor coverage. I have land that I would be interested in leasing to have a tower installed.

I am submitting this formal request for the installation of a Bell cellular communications tower to address ongoing gaps in mobile coverage, public safety communications, and digital connectivity within our community.
1. Community Need
Our area currently experiences significant cellular service limitations, including:
- Frequent dead zones across residential areas, roadways, and community facilities
- Unreliable connectivity for emergency response services
- Limited access to mobile data for education, health services, and community programs
- Barriers to economic development, business operations, and tourism
- Increased risk during emergencies due to unreliable access to 9‑1‑1 and public alerts
These issues directly impact public safety, community well‑being, and economic opportunity.
2. Public Safety Impact
Reliable cellular coverage is essential for emergency services. Current communication challenges include:
- Difficulty coordinating fire, EMS, and police operations
- Inconsistent ability for residents to call for help
- Delays in receiving emergency alerts or evacuation notices
- Increased risk during wildland fires, flooding, and severe weather events
Improved infrastructure would significantly enhance response times, situational awareness, and overall community safety.
3. Community Support
Local leadership, emergency services, and residents strongly support the installation of a Bell tower. This project aligns with:
- Federal and provincial priorities for improved digital infrastructure
- Bell’s ongoing work with rural and Indigenous communities
- Broader goals for economic development and public safety
4. Request
We respectfully request that Bell Canada:
- Conduct a technical assessment to determine the optimal tower location.
- Provide a project proposal outlining tower specifications, coverage improvements, timelines, and partnership requirements.
- Engage with community leadership to discuss planning, land use, and long‑term service agreements.
- Collaborate with emergency services to ensure the tower supports public safety communication needs.
We are prepared to support site identification, community engagement, and coordination with funding partners as required.
