I am in France at the moment, but I'd like to check my voicemail. Is there any way I can do this from my laptop? I would rather not use international roaming to dial into my voicemail box.

Good Day & Welcome
Thank you for your question.
You cannot access your voicemails from your laptop without incurring charges while in France. You can access your voice mailbox from any mobile or regular touchtone phone.
Airtime, long distance and roaming charges may apply when you access your mailbox using your mobile phone.
You could look in to purchasing a Bell Travel Pass to reduce your costs while travelling in France.
From your mobile phone
- Press and hold the 1 key.
- Enter your password (if applicable).
Voicemail via MMS delivers audio files of your voicemails directly to your phone via message app, allowing you to listen without calling into a voicemail box. This service requires active mobile data (or Wi-Fi calling).
I have included two support articles that you can access from your web browser that will answer many of your questions
How to use Message Centre voicemail : What is Message Centre? (bell.ca)
Voicemail via MMS | Bell Mobility : What is Voicemail via MMS?
Note: to receive voicemails via MMS, your smartphone must be connected to the Bell network, have cellular data turned on and be able to receive MMS messages. There’s no charge for data used for Voicemail via MMS in Canada. Data charges apply when roaming.
Take care.
