Credit offer not credited

When I moved into this brand new Condo last May (2025)  it came will free Bell Internet and a Credit Offer of $10 per month for 24 months. So I thought I'll grab me a pod which was on offer for $5/month. For the first month every thing was fine when I got my bill. Zero charges but the following month I was charged $5 which I stupidly ignored as I am new to Canada and I thought it may self correct. After all it is 2025! Or was. Anyway, the following month, not only was I charged another $5 but also late payment fee. Ever since then I have been coughing up this $5 all the while my bill indicating that I still have $5/ month credit left. Numerous calls to Bell Support have been utterly unsuccessful and to be perfectly frank, I am not entirely filled with confidence when I speak to anyone at Bell support. They don't help you with the issue you rang for but always asking if there is anything else they can help you with?!!? Yes! The issue I initially rang for!! LMAO!

So my question is, and I am sure you were all wondering if there is a question in all this or am I here just to vent. The question is, how do I got my money back and get Bell to stop charging me $5 a month people of the good forum?

Please don't say ring Customer Support. LOL!! ๐Ÿ˜›

Good day & Welcome.

Thank you for posting your question.

Billing issues such as this canโ€™t be resolved on this community website, We do not have access to your account & billing records.

As a starting point, "All of your services are billed a month in advance."

If I am understanding your issue correctly, you received a $10 promotional credit & free Internet as part of your condo purchase.when you moved in. This $10 credit was applied to your Bell account. In line with this, you ordered a Bell Wi-Fi pod which is $5.00 / month.

When you received your first bill there was no charge for the pod. "Your first bill could include charges for service for almost two months."
Your second and later bills will only include your regular monthly charges. One of these charges will be the rental fee for the Wi-Fi pod. This is the reason why your next bill included a $5.00 charge.

If you wish to pursue this further, then yes, you will need to discuss this with a Bell service representative.

Take care.

Hi Welsh Terrier,

Thank you for taking time to respond. You have come to the same initial conclusion  Customer Support usually come to when I explain my issue. However.....however, the promotional offer is for $10 per month for 24 months.

Good Day.

Thank you for your reply. You did not mention: "$10 per month for 24 months" in your original post. I will do my best to answer your question. Please provide us with the promotional details.

  • Do you have more than one service with Bell? Internet, Home phone, Fibe TV, etc.
  • Are all of these services billed to the same MyBell Account?
  • Were there any conditions included with this promotion? E.g. Autopay, etc.

Bell offers any number of promotions from time to time. For example:

  •  $10/month credit for 24 months primarily as a "2-year term credit" for bundled home services such as Fibe Internet,TV, Home phone, etc.
  • $10/month "Autopay credit" on eligible Mobility plans.
  • etc.

Let us know.

Take care.
