Suspended while travelling for exceeding current limit

While visiting Czech Republic my plan got suspended for exceeding current limit even though Bill statement says $0. When connected to live support I was told to make a minimum payment of $69 to get get it restored and they provided me with the Europe Travel Plan. After rebooting my device, everything was back to normal and working. After couple hours, it's suspended again.

I was told:

- Travel Plan will reflect to my upcoming bill in 11 days

- Travel Plan is effective immediately

- Bell does not offer a transcripts no more. They told me to reboot my phone and when connecting back the chat was already gone. When using their support I was told to provide me with transcript and I was told, they cannot do that (luckily I too a screenshots)

- I will pay $75 for 14 days in Europe allowing me not being charged every single day for connecting to local service. While having this add-on I was able to use data as I would be in Canada as well as making calls and messages to Canada and withing the country. DURING THOSE 5 HOURS IT WAS WORKING, I DIDNT MAKE ANY CALL AND/OR MESSAGE AND YET, ITS SUSPENDED AGAIN.

Very disappointing. Thank you BELL for making my life easier.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum

Thank you for posting your concerns & comments.

This is a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account and billing records.

We would like to assist in resolving this matter, but we are somewhat limited on what we can offer up to you as a solution. If you can provide us with the specifics, we will do our utmost best to answer any questions you might have.

  1. Are you on a credit limit program?
  2. If so, did you exceed your credit limit by adding the Europe 14-day $75.00 Travel pass?
  3. Have you been paying your monthly bill on time over the previous 6 months?

If your amount of credit used is greater than your credit limit, then your Bell Mobility service would be suspended.

I can only speculate that this is the reason for your account being suspended. In order to restore service, you’ll need to make a payment until your credit used falls below your credit limit.

I can only suggest that you discuss your bill with a Bell Mobility Customer Service Accounts & Billing representative. They will provide you with the complete details & a full explanation of your current bill, your outstanding balance, & options for payment, etc.

Please call: 1-800-667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device. You can use this number: +1 514 420-7748  to contact Bell for roaming inquiries while abroad, free from any Bell mobile device.

To learn more, check out: What is the credit limit program? : How does the credit limit program work?

Take care.
