Wrong billing charged to my account (First warning)

I am kinda . since I was charged to own a movie that I requested to be rented. When I saw the movie among the options, it was displayed to rent for CAD$6 something else, I clicked on it to watch and when I got the bill it said that I owned the movie for CAD$24 something. This is my first warning since I know that I won' t have my money back but if it happens again I will cancel Bell services for good. I did it once with another provider, why not with these fellas.

Good Day & Welcome.

Thank you @Gloria1976 for posting your issue.

We can understand & appreciate your concern when it comes to purchasing a movie vs. renting a movie on a onetime basis in error. This is a peer-to-peer website. We do not have access to your account & billing records.

There is no setting to disable "buying" while keeping "renting" active. Bell Fibe TV bundles both under a single transaction block.

You can prevent accidental purchases (or unauthorized buying by family members) by turning on Rental Locking. This requires a 4-digit PIN every time someone attempts to either rent or buy a movie. This in itself will not resolve this problem if you select to purchase vs. rent a movie.

You cannot directly cancel an accidental On Demand or Pay-Per-View movie purchase from your Bell TV remote or online account. Once a program has been ordered, it cannot be cancelled.

Bell's official policy states that once a digital movie order has been placed, it is considered final and cannot be modified or cancelled.

If the purchase just happened and you have not started watching the movie yet, your best option is to contact Bell Customer Service immediately. While their policy is strict, a customer service representative may be able to issue a courtesy credit or billing reversal for accidental orders.

I wish I could do more for you, but I can’t.

Take care.
