Why was the 900 range radio stations service discontinued on August 6? No notice given. That was part of our package for years. Will our package rate be reduces?

The removal of radio stations by Bell has been appealed to the CRTC, who have ruled that the station broadcasts must be returned to air until December 1, 2026 while the CRTC hears from both local stations and Bell. You can find the Decision on the CRTC web page as 2026-213.

Thank you for that info. I see that the stations still haven't been reinstated but we'll keep an eye on them.

Good Day.
Thank you for posting your concern. I can only offer the following information to you at this time.
"The removal of radio stations by Bell has been appealed to the CRTC, who have ruled that the station broadcasts must be returned to air until December 1, 2026 while the CRTC hears from both local stations and Bell. You can find the Decision on the CRTC web page as 2026-213. This temporary broadcast mandate remains in effect until December 1, 2026."
For further information, you will need to contact Bell Media's communications and publicity team by email: [email protected] for questions related to corporate media decisions such as this.
Take care.
