To move channels within your Favourites list you're supposed to long-press a channel, and then reposition the channel. (I'm talking about the horizontal list of Favourite channels on the Home screen).
Talking to a friend, I know I'm not the only one who can't do this, but is there anybody who can?
When I long-press, nothing happens. When I finally give up, and let go of that long press, it just takes me to that channel.
I had a 2nd-tier tech-support call, but they were of no help.

Good Day & Welcome.
Thank you for posting your question.
Can you please tell us more? I will assume that you are referring to the Fibe TV App and the Favorites that are shown on the Home screen.
You can edit your Favorites that appear on this list, but you cannot rearrange this list per se. If you add or delete a Favorite channel from this list, you will also delete this as a Favorite in your Guide.
Favorite Channels as listed horizontally on the Home screen reflect your viewing history of Favorite channels. You cannot manually rearrange this list. The last channel watched, becomes the first channel on the list & so on as you change from one Favorite channel to another.
While you can create, add, or remove channels from your favorites list on the Fibe TV app via Settings > Favorites, you cannot manually rearrange the order of those favorite channels. The app typically lists favorites in numerical order based on the main channel guide, rather than in the order they were selected.
Many Smart TVs, e.g. Samsung, LG, etc. have a feature similar to what you have mentioned. You are able to long-press a button to rearrange order of an app or connected device on the Home screen. This is generally not possible to do within the specific app itself. This Home rearrangement setting is built into and included as a feature with that specific model of TV and manufacturer.
Take care.

Yes, that's what I meant.

Yup. I just noticed this last night.
It's a bummer that I can't rearrange them, but at least I'm getting an answer here that's not the nonsense that my support calls were trying to tell me.
I guess the good news is that this Favourites list is so far down on the homescreen that I'll rarely use it anyway. 🙂
Thanks.
