Searching for past Emails doesn't work well on the computer. Works fine on a phone. What is going on

When I search for a past Email on my computer that I know it exists I cannot find it. When I search for the past Email with my smart phone it finds it no problem.It worked just fine with the previous version of Bell mail.What is going on??
