Hi @Sanmos

This is what works for me:

  1. Log into My Bell
  2. Select My Services
  3. Select Internet
  4. Click on Usage
  5. Select Detailed Usage

You'll see usage by day.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

ZaneP

Thank you

I'm trying to see the usage for my zte router, I recall seeing it at one time but now the usage screen is empty. If I check 'roaming usage' a large empty form appears with a message to the effect of 'not relevant'

I believe if your plan is "unlimited" they do not display the data anymore on the device, but they still display it on your Mybell account.

worked for me thanks!

When I log into the router app and check My Usage, it gives the percentage of upload usage for each device, but the download usage is given at "0.00% Download" for every device.  There is no download usage indicated at all.  (When I log into mybell I do see download usage.)

Why isn't my router UI showing download usage?

(And is there no way to see quantitative values of usage in the UI, instead of just relative percentages?)

Thanks

Good Day & Welcome

The Internet download usage you are looking for is no longer tracked on the Bell modem. Internet upload usage is reported as an estimated percentage by device for the selected period on your modem.

Your overall upload & download usage details are available on your MyBell account.
To view your Internet usage, log in to bell.ca/Internetusage with your MyBell username and password.

Take care.

Thank you for your reply.  So there is no way to find out which device on a network is responsible for the most download usage?  MyBell can give you total download usage but not by device, and the modem can tell you upload usage by device but not downloads.  Seems to be a gap there that needs filling.  Is this by design, or is there a tech issue that makes tracking download usage by device tricky?

Good Day.

Thank you for your follow up query.

Your modem does not track download usage device by design. I can only speculate on the reason why it is not being tracked: "Most plans today are unlimited."

You can block or control internet access usage by way of the Bell Wi-Fi app. There is no method built into the Wi-Fi app to track downloaded data usage by device.

Take care.

There may be third party monitoring tools which can track internet traffic by device.
