Need some help from Bell support.

Thank you for your question. Bell has many IPs it owns. At the consumer level, they are not static. You can be assigned an IP by Bell that is not in your location, but in time the routing tables will resolve automatically. You can reboot your Giga Hub if it is troubling.

IPV4 provided by Bell residential services is not static and pending on where the assigned address is pooled from, it might not match your geographical location.

IPV6 is not provided by Bell itself.

Hey there @IP address ismatch

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell community.

In addition to what @dks has posted, I noticed that the secondary IP address you shared above is being routed through CLOUDFLAREWARP (VPN) services. In that case, the Alberta location would be determined by Cloudflare and not by the Bell internet connection.

Let us know if you have any more questions.

@BellPatricia

Yes, but no. I provided that IPV6 output only for additional context. My question is related to IPv4 only, and that's the issue. My internal network does not use IPv6 at all. If it did, it would be a perfect workaround, and I wouldn't have opened this ticket.

That said, the IPv4 address still needs to be corrected in Bell's database. Thanks.
