Activating Your Bell Mobility Service with an eSIM

If you are bringing an eSIM-compatible phone to Bell, you can choose to activate your Mobility service with an eSIM instead of a physical SIM card.

  • For new customers: Activate onlineOpens in a new tab or window or in the MyBell appOpens in a new tab or window.
  • For existing customers: Log in to MyBellOpens in a new tab or window and select eSIM when you add a new line.

 

Setting up eSIM on iPhone or iPad

For a newly purchased device

If an eSIM was reserved on your iPhone or iPad when you bought it from us, turn on your device and follow the initial setup prompts to complete setting up your eSIM.

If you are switching to a new Apple device, follow these instructionsOpens in a new tab or window to transfer your existing Mobility service.

For a new or existing Mobility line on your own device

To finish setting up your Bell Mobility line, you’ll need to download and set up the eSIM on your Apple device. If you are bringing your phone number to Bell from another carrier, transfer your phone numberOpens in a new tab or window first.

  • Setting up eSIM in the MyBell app: If you use the MyBell app to activate a Mobility line on eSIM, you’ll be prompted to set up your eSIM in the app after placing your order. If you haven’t completed your eSIM setup, log in to the app and select Set up eSIM.
  • Setting up eSIM via notification: After activating your Bell Mobility line on eSIM, you should receive a notification on your device. Tap on it and follow the prompts. You can also find the notification in your device's Settings.

 

Setting up eSIM on Samsung

For a newly purchased device

If an eSIM was reserved on your device, turn it on and follow the initial setup prompts to complete the setup.

If you are switching to a new device, follow these instructionsOpens in a new tab or window to transfer your service.

For a new or existing Mobility line on your own device

Download and set up the eSIM on your Samsung device. Transfer your phone numberOpens in a new tab or window first if necessary.

  • In the MyBell app: You'll be prompted to set up your eSIM after ordering. If needed, log in and select Set up eSIM.
  • Via notification: Tap the notification on your device and follow the prompts. Find it in Settings if missed.

 

Setting up eSIM on Google Pixel

For a newly purchased device

Turn on your device and follow the setup prompts if an eSIM was reserved.

For a new or existing Mobility line on your own device

Download and set up the eSIM on your Google Pixel. Transfer your numberOpens in a new tab or window first if needed.

  • In the MyBell app: You'll be prompted after ordering. Or, log in and select Set up eSIM.
  • Via notification: Tap the notification and follow the prompts. It's also in Settings.

 

Setting up eSIM on Motorola

For a newly purchased device

Turn on your device and follow prompts if an eSIM was reserved.

To transfer to a new device, follow these instructionsOpens in a new tab or window.

For a new or existing Mobility line on your own device

Set up the eSIM on your phone. Transfer your numberOpens in a new tab or window first if applicable.

  • In the MyBell app: You'll be prompted after your order. Or, log in and select Set up eSIM.
  • Via notification: Touch the notification and follow the prompts. Find it in Settings if you miss it.
