Global 365 Day Travel Pass eligibility/ Roaming Plans

Hello.

Can someone explain what is the requirement for being eligible  for the Global 365 Day $100 Travel Pass?  I currently have 2 lines.  One with Can/US/ some Intl calling and Can/US but both of these are not eligible for the Global 365 Day $100 Travel Pass Also,  Bell only has a 14 day Travel Data Roaming plan @$70.  The competitors both have a 30 day $60 Roaming plan.  Does anyone know if Bell will be implementing something similar?

Peter, I have been trying to get information on this random computer generated offer for 6 months. I have not come across a single person that knows how it is applied, how to access the offer or why it is offered. Every time, the Bell representatives direct me to my personal "My Bell" app, and tell me to activate it there. That is the only way. This will be a limited time availability. If you have a use for this service, and if you are able to activate it in your app, consider yourself fortunate, and one in a million!

Good Day & Welcome.

The Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass can be used in all countries that have access to Bell's Roam Better.

Your Bell Mobility plan must allow for the addition of Roam Better.

  1. There cannot be any restriction on international calling in place on your account.
  2. Phones on prepaid plans do not qualify for Roam Better or Bell Travel Passes.
  3. Roam Better and Travel Passes are not available on all corporate accounts.
  4. The Global 365 Travel Pass is not available & included in all mobility plans.
  5. The Global 365-day Travel Pass is an exclusive, limited-time offer.

If you meet all of the qualifiers mentioned earlier and are eligible for the offer, this can be added on to your account by logging in to your MyBell account & selecting your Mobility service and selecting Travel Add-ons.

To see travel add-ons and rates, go to bell.ca/travel and select your destination.

To purchase a data pass you can login to your MyBell account with any web browser to confirm whether Roam Better is included & if there are any restrictions in place.

  1. Login to your MyBell account
  2. Go to your Mobility service.
  3. Select > Mobility overview.  (Right side of the page.)
  4. Scroll down the page to > Add-ons & promotional date.
  5. Verify that "Restrict outgoing international calls" is not listed. If it is shown, then you will need to contact Bell Mobility Customer Service to remove the restriction. Roaming must also be activated & included with your plan before you can purchase a Bell Travel add-on.

Is the Global 365-day Travel Pass still available?  Am I right to understand the calling is just from a destination country back to Canada, correct?  If someone calls my Canadian number and I pick up the call in say South Africa, is that covered by the plan, even if the call originates from outside Canada?

Good Day & Welcome

Thank you for posting your question. I will do my best to answer each of your four questions.

The Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass can be used in all countries that have access to Bell's Roam Better. If you do not see it in your Travel Plan Add-ons, then you may not qualify for the plan.

To qualify for the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass, your Bell Mobility plan must allow for the addition of Roam Better.

It can be used in all countries that have access to Bell's Roam Better.

  • Unlimited calling in over 200 international destinations and to Canada.
  • Unlimited texting.
  • Use the data from your Mobility rate plan.

The only restriction or rule so to speak would be for countries that roaming is not supported, or while on a flight or a cruise ship. In these cases, either a Global 365 or a Roam Better user would both be subject to pay-per-use rates.

  • There is no charge for you to call or text a friend with a Canadian mobile number when they are travelling and you are using the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass while you are outside of Canada.
  • Calls to your phone from another number are subject to rates and charges that are associated with the caller's account. Calls to your mobile number would be subject to the rates in their plan. You are not billed for calls to your number from another caller.
  • The Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass does not include free calling from another number to your mobile number.

If you do meet all of the qualifiers mentioned & are eligible for the offer, this can be added on to your account by logging in to your MyBell account & selecting your Mobility service and selecting Travel Add-ons.

If you do not meet all of qualifiers for the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass, then you may wish to consider another travel pass such as:

  • International 14-day or International 30-day

I can tell you that i am planning to leave bell mobility after more than 30 years dealing with them over this 365 day global travel pass.  I have never been offered it and have been told that i am not eligible.  Nobody can tell me why i am not eligible but i think it is because i spend more than $100 annually using bell travel passes for years so why give a loyal customer the discount.  Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Good Day & Welcome

Thank you for posting your concern. As you know, this is a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account and billing records. I will do my best to answer your question.

Bell introduced its Global 365-Day Travel Pass around August 2025. The plan, which serves as a long-term alternative to daily roaming fees, offers users unlimited talk and text, alongside data usage, in various countries for a full year. It can be used in all countries that have access to Bell's Roam Better.

If you do not see it in your Travel Plan Add-ons, then you may not qualify for the plan. To qualify for the Bell Global 365-day Travel Pass, your Bell Mobility plan must allow for the addition of Roam Better.

  6. The pass does not renew automatically. Once it expires, you must check if a similar offer is still available for purchase.

  • International 14-day or International 30-day

thankyou for your reply.  I know what the criteria is for qualifying as i do qualify based on all the above criteria you mentioned.  However i am not eligible for this add on.  I called to speak to a customer service representative and they told me I was never offered this product because my plan was not eligible .  I asked what made my plan ineligible but no reason could be given.  This was a targetted campaign by Bell Mobility and the only people who are eligible are ones that have not spent $100 in travel add ons in the past .  Customers like my self who spend 5 times that annually minimum are  not eligible and will not get this offer because it would mean a savings for me as a 35 year loyal customer.  It is offensive to existing loyal customers like myself especially when competitors are offering this .   My challenge would be to all existing  Bell mobility customers who  were not aware of this offer and were not eligible to ask themselves why they are not eligbile. Chances are the  Main reason is they have spent over $100 in travel add ons in the past in my opinion.

Nick, I can tell you I am just as frustrated with Bell. I spend more than $200 / month with Bell, I have been with them my whole life and am a shareholder, and I am never offered this plan.  I contacted Loyalty, and they were zero help. Apparently there is a computer somewhere in the world that randomly picks candidates, whether they travel or not. Last month I was so close on switching as a competitor had an awesome deal on, including World travel for $40. I'm kicking myself for not hoping on. The next offer that comes by, I think I'm gone as well.
