Can’t access my bell account bell refuses to change my email

Please fix my account
Contributor

So I just moved a month ago and created a new bell account to get internet, bell let me create an email with a spelling mistake that does not exist, I am unable to access this email in anyway shape or form and I cannot login to my bell account to pay my bills or view my bills. Bell for some reason will not let me change my account to the proper email. They said they would fix my issue but have decided to ghost me and not fix anything. Do I have to cancel my account to fix this or can bell support change your email somehow?

Good Day & Welcome

Thank you for posting your concern.

In order to help solve your problem, we need to have a better understanding of the issue. Can you please elaborate on these details that you provided to us in your post?

  • "bell let me create an email with a spelling mistake that does not exist"
  • "They said they would fix my issue but have decided to ghost me and not fix anything."

In order to setup a MyBell account, you must have a valid email address. If you did not provide Bell with a valid email address, then will not be able to create a MyBell profile. Have you contacted Bell Customer Service & discussed making changes to your new account?

We do not have access to your billing account on this website. If the credentials you provided to Bell are incorrect, then you will need to contact a Bell Customer Service representative by: Chat or by calling: 1-866-310-2355 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device. If need be, you can request to speak to an online manager. Only Bell can make account changes such as this.

After this has been corrected, you will then be able to create a MyBell account. I have included the details below for creating a MyBell account in this weblink:

Let us know if we can be of further assistance to you.

Take care

@BellPatricia

Just to touch on this how the problem was fixed and created:

The issue is when creating an account it does not need email verification when you just created a fresh new account as you can use your phone number while making the account on your computer, this locks you in to a one time instance to make an account which I then used to request an internet service for my address. I then logged off and never thought of this being an issue until once the internet was installed it auto locked the account (that you cant log into at this point as it requires email verification) to the email with the spelling error which then sends an email verification to try to get you to log into which you don’t have access to.

A bell customer service manager or moderator then needs to treat this as lost contact info for the email. And unlink the account from the email allowing you to then link or create your bell account like normal.

Thank you for all the help!!
