How to install apps with Bell Fibe TV

With the Fibe TV VIP7802, you can enjoy your favourite apps directly from your TV without switching inputs.

Download apps from the thousands available on the Google Play Store, including streaming, games, podcasts, music, and fitness apps.

 

Note: you must be logged in to your Google account to download and install new apps.

Installing an app

  1. Press the Apps button on your remote.
  2. Under Apps & games, select Google Play Store.
  3. Browse the Play Store for an app to install and select Install.
  4. Wait for the app to finish downloading and installing.
  5. Press the Apps button on your remote.
  6. Locate and select the newly installed app to launch it.

Updating an app

  1. Press the Apps button on your remote.
  2. Under Apps & games, select Google Play Store.
  3. Select your account from the top right navigation bar.
  4. Scroll to Manage apps and games. If any of your downloaded apps require updating, you will see a section called Updates. Press OK on this section.
  5. Select Update all to update all apps.

Removing an app

  1. Press the Home button on your remote and select Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select See all apps to view the list of apps downloaded on your device.
  4. Choose the app you’d like to remove and select Uninstall.

To access your apps:

  • Press the Home button on your Fibe TV Voice Remote and select Apps.
    • Or
  • Press the Apps button on your remote.
    • Or
  • Press the Google Assistant button on your remote and say the name of the app you want to launch.

I don’t have a Google email address

I have an apple email 

I should be able to use that ?

Hey there @Ron7 

Welcome to the Bell community 🙂

You will not be able to log in using your Apple email address. Instead you just need to create a Google account and then you will be able to log in and install apps on the Fibe TV Box.

Simply go to the Google Account Sign-Up PageOpens in a new tab or windowand follow the on-screen prompts to create your Gmail address and password.
