I have a 12 year-old Samsung TV with red yellow and blue wires and an old Bell receiver model number VIP 2502. Trying connect a new receiver  model number VIP5662W.

Good Day & Welcome

Thank you for posting your question.

The Bell 4K VIP5662W set-top box primarily uses an HDMI connection for 4K video and high-definition audio. It does not support composite (yellow/red/white) connections and is designed primarily for HDMI.

The VIP5662W is a 4K Whole Home PVR, while the VIP2502 is a standard 1080p wireless HD receiver. The VIP5662W supports 4K content, has a 1TB hard drive, The VIP2502 is used as a wireless secondary box for HD viewing.

Bell does not sell the VIP5662W 4K PVR and VIP7802 Cloud PVR box directly to customers. Both of these boxes are only offered as a rental.

Did you purchase this VIP5662W PVR as a replacement for your VIP2502? If so, it cannot be connected to your account as it will already be linked to another Bell Fibe TV account.

I would suggest that you contact Bell Customer Service Fibe TV for further assistance. Please call: 1 866 797-8686

Let us know if we can be of further help to you.

Take care.
