Yesterday my PVR stopped working as I was watching a recorded show. Tried rebooting several times & still not working. Today I can still watch live tv but cannot go into my recordings…keep getting error message 024. Also tried to set up a new recording and am not able to do that & can’t my preset recordings not working. What can be done to fix this? My PVR is 9242. It had been working fine till now.

I do have another receiver. I will see if it is the same thing on that one and let you know.

Also my skip forward snd skip back buttons are not working everything was working fine before that time change

I have two 9241 pvr recievers.
Back in December one receiver quit working properly. I could not record anything and all my recordings were gone. I could not fast forward or reverse on the remote. I was told that the hard drive on the receiver was gone.
I did call in about it and they said that they would send a new smart card, which I got and activated but I still have the same problem.
The second 9241 receiver had not been used in months. When i set it up same problem. I was told also that the hard drive was gone on it as well. Is the 9241 now obsolete? I don't understand how the hard drive could go on two recievers, especially when one was not being used at all. If I was to replace one, what is the cost to rent or to buy? Thanks
