I keep getting kicked off my bell fibe tv app after more than 2 users in my house use the account. Is there a way to have more than 2 devices using the service at the same time?

Good evening @Kevin7,

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Bell Community.

You can easily remove a device in the menu section of the Bell Fibe TV app. Please note, once a device is removed you will need to wait thirty days before you can add it back.

For steps on how to manage the devices on the Bell Fibe TV app check out How to remove devices from my accountOpens in a new tab or window

Good day @Marlboro

Thank you for reaching out.

When streaming Fibe TV and the Fibe TV app using a Wi-Fi network other than your home network, please note these limits:

  • Fibe TV: Up to three devices can stream, but only one can watch live TV at any given moment.
  • Fibe TV App: A maximum of two devices can stream simultaneously; however, only one can watch live television.

Please let the Community know if you have any more questions.

How many devices do you currently have registered? Try removing any devices that are not using the Bell Fibe TV app at the moment & then check to see if you are still having trouble.

Nah. It’s as written as the description on the website. You can upgrade to a dvr plan instead. I used to have ALT TV and it was pretty intense when trying to watch as much as local news as possible in the evening & at night.

I try my fibe app but it tells me I'm at my maximum devices

Are you with the satellite tv too?

Hi AlexS, no, I'm with Bell Fibe. I called Bell and the rep on the phone told me I can only have 5 app devices working/signed in at one time. He told me to go onto my tablet, go to settings, devices and then forget/ remove a unused device from the5 shown and then your device will now work.

i understand it says only 2 devices max when away from home but only my phone works and my sons phone will not connect.  it says maximum devices reached but no one else in my family has the app other than myself and my son so why can't he connect?

Have you rebooted your modem recently? Let’ start there. Go to your modem & unplug it. Wait 30 seconds & plug it back in. This will take approximately 5-7 minutes to reconnect to Bell. Once all of the flashing lights have stopped & there is no error message, you can proceed with the following:

  1. Let’ s start by verifying the number of devices registered in the app.
  2. Go to Settings & My devices. Check to see if your iOS or OS is up to date.
  3. Do your devices meet the minimum requirements to install & use the Fibe TV app?
  4. If so then remove the app from all devices.
  5. Do a hard boot on the devices, power off.
  6. Power on the devices & reinstall the app once again on each device.

Set up a new Amazon Firestick and tried to watch through my Bell app and a window pops up indicating “Too many devices on account. The maximum number of devices associated with your account has been reached”.
I was under the impression that you’re allowed five devices on an account.

Hi there @Keeeebin

Thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂

Do you have a subscription to Fibe TV, the Fibe TV app or Satellite TV? Are you connected to your Bell Home Wi-Fi or an outside network?

  • If you subscribe to Fibe TV and are using the Fibe TV app you can have unlimited devices registered while connected to your home Bell Wi-Fi. When not connected to your Home Bell Wi-Fi you can have five devices registered.
  • If you are subscribed to the Fibe TV app service (also included with Satellite) when connected to your home Bell Wi-Fi you can have unlimited devices registered while connected to your home Bell Wi-Fi. When not connected to your Home Wi-Fi you can have five devices registered.

How many devices do you currently have registered? Try removing any devices that are not using the Bell Fibe TV app at the moment, and then check to see if you are still having trouble.
